Wild Willy D. (William David Crockett) -- Started playing
and singing the blues as a solo act in the cafes, coffee houses
and beer joints of San Francisco in the mid 1960's, and he
lived to tell about it. He has appeared with a number groups,
and as a solo performer, for more than 35 years. His musical
history includes music of virtually every genre from Jazz to
Country, and from Bluegrass to R & B. He has also performed
major roles in the musical stage productions of "Carnival", "Oklahoma!", "The
Music Man", and " Annie Get Your Gun". Wild
Willy, as he is affectionately known, is a soulful and dynamic
vocalist who "lets it all hang out" for his audiences,
and they just love it.

Mark Mcinerney
From
Boulevard, Ca.
Super
lead and slide Guitar
Born on the south west side of Chicago, Mark
was exposed to Blues and R&B early in life, taking every
chance he could to listen to the A.M. radio stations of the time.
This endeavor was put on hold while living in Spain during his
teens. Upon returning to the states, he found 70's rock & roll,
and took up the guitar. With various friends and garage bands,
he taught himself to play, and continued his search for the Blues
in the used record shops. When compact disks arrived, many early
Blues recordings were reissued, and Mark was taken back even
further to the roots of American music. After moving to Boulevard,
California, to build his strawbale house, he greatly simplified
his home life during the construction phase. This led to setting
aside the electric guitar, and a serious study of the old recordings
with his resonator acoustic. Now the world of alternate tunings
opened up to him, as well as a passion for slide guitar. Mark
soon met local harmonica wizard Joe Mama Marshal, and performing
together was the natural outcome. When they were asked to play
a bar gig, Joe contacted his old friends Dave, Raul, and Ernie,
and One Way Out was born. Now back on the electric guitar, Mark
has found the ideal tone and sound with SwampKaster guitars and
Mesa Boogie amplifiers.
Mark and Chloe Crosthwaite reside peacefully in their sustainable
solar powered home in Boulevard, and both feel blessed by the
music and musicians of One Way Out.

Screaming
Harmonica and Vocals
From
Jacumba, Ca.
Born 1948 in El Centro, Ca. and raised in a very
small town named Seeley. He started doing music as a kid
playing the piano in church. Took some piano lessons but instead
of learning to read music like he was supposed to he talked
the teacher into teaching him to play boogie woogie, so much
for
playing in church. A lot of you probable don’t even
know what boogie woogie is but back then it was hot. He took
some
guitar lessons until the teacher said not to come back any
more. I guess he didn't’t like his attitude. Really
learned to play the guitar and harp overseas in the military
(67-70).
Blues became my passion at that point. Got thrown out of
the barracks a few times while he tried to learn but eventually
did learn and it was jam city after that.
Came home and started playing music with everyone he could find,
every day and a lot of nights. Been at it ever since. My love of
blues
was greatly enhanced by my good friend Mike Pangle. He showed me
how to
play slide guitar and all of the old style blues.
He's played with several bands through the years but mostly with
friends doing BBQ’s and free gigs until about 3 years ago.
His dear friend Dr. Van Decker talked him into playing with the jazz
band
at Imperial Valley College. He loved it. With his help he broke out
of the play with just friends under the old oak tree to playing with
friends
in front of crowds. He lost my fear of everyone looking at me when
he played and expanded my musical knowledge. He started playing with
the
Ghostriders also about
three years ago doing country and Western, broadening his musical
scope even more. Played with a couple of other bands in
the mts. but then came One Way Out and it was love at first note.
Five fine musicians and old friends that believe in the blues and
will rock
you.
Long Live the Blues!!!

Live the love I love and I love the life I live
